The Trube Castle in Galveston, Texas was built in 1890 by John Clement Trube and his wife Verona, an heir of early Texan, Peter Durst. This Danish castle-inspired home was designed by architect Alfred Muller.
Trube came to the U.S. from Kiel, Denmark in his youth and later became a successful businessman. The home is a prominent and historic landmark in Galveston, known for its unusual and imaginative architectural design!
